On April 13, 2023, the German iF Design Awards, known as the "Oscars" in the design industry, announced the list of winners for the year 2023.

 

Green, environmental protection, and sustainable development have been the focus of attention in recent years. How to make the Earth we are on more "healthy" and how to make more long-term and scientific use of existing resources.

1.BA.LAB Probiotics Ready to eat probiotic with Bagasse packaging

 

 

 

This is a fun probiotic packaging design, and also my favorite environmentally friendly packaging design. It is inspired by the Nintendo handheld game console GBP, which integrates the concept of playing games with beneficial bacteria to maintain a balanced gut microbiota, conveying an optimistic and happy life spirit. The overall outer box is made of sugarcane bagasse eco-friendly material. Combining the GBP design, the portable inner bag is combined with a game card strap. The brand information and the form of the game progress bar are ingeniously combined to create the brand's exclusive memory.

 

2.Bama Tea Industry Exhibition Hongtu Tea Packaging

 

 

 

The packaging of this white tea is mainly white and gold, with patterns of flying rabbits, peonies, and tea leaves, simple and elegant.

 

3. Coffee Libre Capsule Coffee Capsule Packaging

 

 

 

The kitten image on the packaging is two cats living in the design agency Coffee Libre company. The capsule box packaging also uses materials that can be upgraded and recycled, making it environmentally friendly.

 

4. Packaging Design of Qingyuan Lianshan Heishan Rice

 

 

 

Heishan Village is a small village in Guangdong Province. For thousands of years, people living in this small mountain village in northwest Guangdong have been working hard in the misty terraced fields, expressing their awe of nature in their unique ways. In terms of packaging design, the poetic imagery of "a grain of rice in the mountains" serves as a source of inspiration. By extracting the natural scenery of the origin of rice and using visual language such as dots, lines, and surfaces, the rustic and tranquil cultural atmosphere of Heishan Village is showcased.

 

5.Vermicelli Bagasse Packaging

 

 

 

 This grain and vegetable noodle packaging is made of environmentally friendly materials that can degrade sugarcane bagasse. Visually, the three different flavors of wheat, spinach, and purple potatoes are distinguished by prominent representative colors and concise patterns, creating a strong visual impact.
